Tampa Bay TV Station Apologizes for Showing Buccaneers Player's Penis on Air

A Tampa television station is apologizing after it showed a naked Tampa Bay Buccaneer player on the air.

WTVT, the FOX affiliate in Tampa, was interviewing Bucs OL Donald Penn after their Week 12 loss to the Titans.

While that interview was happening, another Bucs player was undressing in the background. You can't see the player's face, but home viewers were able to catch a glimpse of the player's private parts.

The station apologized later during the broadcast saying:

“Earlier in the Bucs’ post game there was an inadvertent shot and we apologize for that.”

This is not the first time a TV station has give viewers an eye full.

In 2008, Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe unknowingly showed himself to the world when KSMP, the FOX affiliate in Minneapolis, aired video of a naked Shiancoe toweling himself off after a victory against the Detroit Lions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib arrested, blames mother

Nearly 20 years after Estelle Getty and Sylvester Stalone starred in the movie Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib is apparently bringing that concept back. However, Talib's portrayal of the cinematic flop is no laughing matter.

Talib has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently out on $25,000 bond.

Talib turned himself into police in Texas earlier this week after he was accused of pistol whipping and firing shots at Shannon Billings, the boyfriend of Talib's sister.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Talib and his defense attorneys are preparing to argue Talib's mother, Okolo, was the one who fired the shots at Billings.

Okolo Talib is also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

NFL Lockout's Impact On The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They are another extremely young team that turned out to be one of the pleasant surprises of 2010. The Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman is an emerging superstar who played great in his second-year as a starter. The Bucs need to add a couple of pieces to their defense (most notably their defensive line) and another play maker on offense, but they're built for a good run in 2011. Freeman said earlier this off season that he was planning private practices with his teammates in the event of a lockout. Freeman realizes the Bucs are on the verge of breaking out and he wants to keep that momentum going (smart guy).

2011 Fantasy Football Scouting Report: Josh Freeman, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2010 Stats
  3451 yds.
  25 TDs
     6 INTs
2011 Projected
  3550 yds.
  24 TDs
     9 INTs

Freeman took a huge step forward last year and may be on the verge of becoming a top ten quarterback. Freeman has a young group of emerging wide receivers including rookie sensation Mike Williams and Arrelious Benn. The Bucs also discovered a revived running game thanks to undrafted rookie LeGarrette Blount. The future is bright for Tampa Bay and if they add another offensive playmaker this offseason, Freeman would become even more intriguing. Freeman also has the ability to make plays with his feet (projected: two rushing TDs), which makes him an even more valuable fantasy football quarterback.
