NFL Lockout's Impact On The New York Giants

New York Giants: The Giants roster and coaching staff looks like it will remain intact once the new CBA is reached. They have a couple questions on the offensive line, which they can address in the draft, but other than that they're loaded with veterans. The Giants may look to get younger on defense, but that's not a pressing need for 2011. Tom Coughlin's discipline might be exactly what the Giants need to get ready for the season on short notice.

2012 NFL Super Bowl XLVI Odds

With the 2010-2011 NFL season now history, it’s time to start looking ahead to next season. Assuming there is a season this fall, it’s never too soon to start handicapping the race for next Super Bowl champion.
Less than 24 hours after the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV, the 2012 Super Bowl odds have been released. And much to my surprise, the Packers are not the early favorites.
Here is the first look at the odds from Sportsbook.com:
New England -- 5:1
Green Bay -- 6:1
Pittsburgh -- 8:1
Baltimore -- 12:1
New York Jets-- 12:1
San Diego -- 12:1
Atlanta -- 15:1
New York Giants -- 15:1
New Orleans -- 15:1
Philadelphia -- 15:1
Indianapolis -- 18:1
Dallas -- 18:1
Chicago -- 18:1

2011 Fantasy Football Scouting Report: Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants

2010 Stats
  4002 yds.
  31 TDs
     25 INTs
2011 Projected
  3985 yds.
  26 TDs
     25 INTs

Manning should get his full compliment of wide receivers back in 2011. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks was on his way to a breakout year before getting hurt last year. Manning and the Giants struggled after Nicks went down. Mario Manningham and Steve Smith are also very good receivers and the running back duo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw should take some of the pressure off Manning. The Giants will need to improve its offensive line play if they want to keep Manning upright this season.
