The oft-injured Bob Sanders is reportedly heading west. The former Indianapolis Colts strong safety signed a one-year deal with the San Diego Chargers Thursday.
Sanders, who just turned 30, was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2007, but injuries became a yearly occurance and he couldn't stay on the field. In the last three seasons, Sanders has played in just nine regular-season games, while missing 39.
The terms of the deal weren't released.
