Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada (6'4" 225 lbs.)
Positives: He has above average arm strength with fairly good accuracy. During his four years at Nevada, he improved as a passer. He's a good decision maker who doesn't turn the ball over very often. He's extremely mobile and has very good speed. He's a coachable player who has the eagerness to learn. He showed good leadership at the Senior Bowl. He might have done enough to get himself drafted into the second round.
Negatives: He needs to become more consistent, he misses too many easy throws. He doesn't throw a very good deep ball. He has a tendency to leave the pocket too soon and runs more often than he should. After playing in Nevada's Pistol offense, he will need to learn to play in a pro-style offense.
