2011 Fantasy Football Scouting Report: Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings

2010 Stats
71 rec. / 868 yds.
5 TDs
2011 Projected
83 rec. / 950 yds.
7 TDs

There are high expectations for Harvin coming into 2011 and should he stay healthy, look for him to have a solid season. Harvin will benefit tremendously from new offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave's offense. Musgrave likes to have his receivers works short and intermediate routes, something Harvin does extremely well. Harvin also has the ability to run the ball, which makes him even more valuable. Look for the Vikings offense to work through Harvin a lot in the coming season. The biggest issue with Harvin is his migraine headaches. Harvin had to miss two games last season due to the headaches and the uncertainty surrounding the affliction can leave fantasy football owners in the dark on gameday. Harvin is a risky pick because of his headaches, but his upside makes him too valuable to pass up. Consider him a number two fantasy football wide receiver.
