2010 Stats | 14 rec. / 248 yds. | 3 TDs |
2011 Projected | 70 rec. / 1,100 yds. | 9 TDs |
After a suspension and hold-out that kept him out of 11 games in 2010, Jackson is looking to get back on track with the Chargers this season. San Diego placed the franchise tag on Jackson, so he knows he'll be playing for the Chargers starting in week one this season. That also means this year will be another contract year for Jackson, which could be extra motivation for him to perform well and cash-in next season. In the five games he did play in last year, Jackson was impressive finishing with 14 catches, 248 yards and three touchdowns (all three TDs coming in Week 15). With quarterback Philip Rivers throwing him the ball, Jackson should put up over 1,000 yards and 8-9 touchdowns. Jackson is a fringe number one fantasy football wide receiver, but a very solid number two option.
