It's always hard to handicap New England's starting running back race, but it's clear Green-Ellis is the best they have. Green-Ellis had a breakout season in 2010, rushing for 1,008 yards and 13 touchdowns. Entering his fourth season, Green-Ellis has emerged as a durable workhorse-type running back for Patriots. Still, his role with the team remains uncertain after New England drafted Shane Vereen (2nd round) and Stevan Ridley (3rd round) in the 2011 NFL Draft.
