2011 Fantasy Football Scouting Report: Matt Forte, RB, Chicago Bears

2010 Stats
 1,069 rush yds.
6 rush TDs
51 rec. / 547 yds.
3 rec. TDs
2011 Projected
 1,025 rush yds.
7 rush TDs
50 rec. / 515 yds.
2 rec. TDs

Forte proved last year that he can be an every down back for the Bears. His 1,600 total yards and nine touchdowns (6 rushing, 3 receiving) showed he can be a difference maker. Forte has solidfied his spot as the Bears featured back, so much so, the Bears back-up running back Chester Taylor may be cut by Chicago. The only issue with Forte is his lack of consistency. There were a handful of games in 2010 where he was a non-factor. If Forte gets an opportunity where he can touch the ball 20-25 times a game, he will be a solid number one fantasy football running back.
